Taking Stock: A Perspective From Women in Canadian Beef at AWC East 2022

We have always been passionate about educating people about food and the dedicated individuals who make it possible. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we want to pay extra attention and highlight the women who have helped shape the agricultural community into what it is today!

Canada Beef sent The Foodies Group’s Haley Sova to Niagara Falls, Ontario, to attend the 2022 Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference so she could learn about some of the udderly fantastic women currently working in the Canadian beef community.

From PhD students to Executive Directors, Haley interviewed a number of conference attendees who have committed their careers to the advancement of Canadian beef in a variety of ways. We hope this exceptional group of ladies inspire you as much as they inspired us!
