If this sounds like you, here is your chance to work with one of Canada’s fastest growing food events companies. Foodies on Foot is looking for Event Planner/Coordinator Interns.

What makes our Internship different? We do not view you as an Intern, we view you as part of the team. There will be no coffee pouring, filing, and, lack of creative thinking. You will be fully integrated into the entire process, learning how to create, execute, and promote events across the province from beginning to end.

EVENT PLANNER/COORDINATOR INTERNSHIP

Duration: 3 months (Monday to Friday, 10:00-4:00)
Foodies on Foot is seeking the most creative, entrepreneurial, dynamic people to become part of our fantastic team. You will have the chance to be part of the some of the most creative food events throughout Ontario with long-term potential for paid employment.

The position includes some travel from time to time. All travel expenses are reimbursed.

Your skills:

 Major entrepreneurial spirit
 The ability to work autonomously and deliver under tight deadlines
 Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously
 Comfortable with WordPress and savvy with social media
 Creative thinking
 Comfortable connecting with individuals & groups on event sites
 Strong ability to network and make new contacts
 Knowledgeable and no fear sales approach
 A strong knowledge of the local food scene
 The ability to work remotely and be self motivated
 Preference given to those with a working understanding of Adobe Design, Photography, and/or Videography
This internship is unpaid.

PERKS: You will get to taste some of the tastiest restaurants, beverages, and food products from across the province, while travelling and discovering different regions throughout Ontario. You will meet some of the most influential people in the industry while attending countless cultural and food related events.
