We do not have a minimum ticket enrollment. We will run the tours and events regardless of the number of people attending. When you book with us, you know the tour is guaranteed to take place, and, the event is guaranteed to take place, regardless of the number of people that register. We do have a maximum number of tickets we sell for each tour and event. Rest assured that we do not oversell our tours, to ensure that the tour remains quaint enough for everyone to be able to hear the tour guide and experience each merchant on a personal level.

Yes, all tour tickets must be purchased online up to the day before the event. To avoid the risk of a tour or event being sold out, we strongly recommend that you purchase tickets as far in advance as possible. All major credit cards are accepted through our ticketing agent, EZ-Tix, a secure online payment system that requires no registration.

All tickets sold are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled. We do allow you to transfer tickets to another party with written notice.

Gratuity is not included in our tours, but, it is included in our other events. Our tour guides would definitely appreciate any gratuity if you enjoyed yourself on the tours, although, again, there is no obligation on your part to tip.

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on customizing tours and events. Private tours can be scheduled for groups of any size. We can customize tours/events for 12-2000 people. Foodies on Foot™ enjoys customizing events. Whether for corporate events, team building, entertaining clients, conventions, bridal showers, bachelor(ette) parties, or, just a memorable occasion, we can provide you with a unique culinary tour or event for you.

There will be some time to shop at each merchant that has a retail component. We definitely support the merchants that take part in our tour, and, if you enjoyed your tasting and would like to make a purchase, you are more than welcome to do so. If you wish to peruse in greater detail than the time allows, you can always return to the merchant after the tour.

Our events are held rain, snow, or shine. Use your best judgement when deciding what to wear. We advise that you dress for the weather and the nature of the tour or event.

The majority of our neighbourhood walking tours are approximately 3 hours. Food tours where we take public transit, can run anywhere from 4-5 hours.

We suggest dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle that you can fill along the way as you will get thirsty. Don’t forget your phone or camera to snap some shots and help relive your memorable experience.

You will receive an e-mail informing you of the meeting point for each tour and the contact information for your tour guide. The tour will not end at the same location where it begins, however, the start and end points of each tour will always be accessible by public transit or a short walk from public transit. We are happy to provide you with any directions you require.

Due to health regulations in the restaurants and shops we visit, pets are not allowed.

We will make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions, however, we would advise that you write to us before purchasing a ticket to the tour or event if you have any mandatory dietary restrictions or allergies. We cannot accommodate for dietary restrictions that are not conveyed to us in advance.

We currently do not offer discounts for children and seniors, as the bulk of the ticket price pays for the tastings on the tour. If you are bringing a child under the age of 3 to a tour, you do not need to purchase a ticket for that child. All children aged 3 and higher will require a ticket. With regards to our supper clubs and special events, most are 19+ due to alcohol being served.
