Prince of Wales Afternoon Tea #FoodieDaysOfChristmas Contest

It’s Day 12, the half way point of the #FoodieDaysOfChristmas. We just got the report from Santa and he is impressed we’ve made it this far. Thanks for the vote of confidence Santa! Today, we’re going to move from “things” to “experiences” as we transport you out of your seats and into one of the magical places to visit over the holidays, Niagara-on-the-Lake.

With so much to see and do in the region, we have to admit that one of our favourite experiences is always Afternoon Tea in a classic NOTL setting. There is no better place to get your fix of Afternoon Tea than at the Price of Wales Hotel. This is the quintessential NOTL experience. Break out your fancy hat, raise your pinky, and have a cuppa for us. How civilized.

What we also love about the Prince of Wales is that the variety of tea services they offer. Earlier this year we attended an experience themed around Alice in Wonderland, to tie in with the Shaw Festival production. On Friday and Saturday, they also offer a Candlelight Tea. In addition, from time to time, they will offer tutored tea tastings with Hoda Paripoush, Certified Tea Sommelier and Founder of Sloane Tea. How fun is that?
