Love to Eat this Valentine’s Day

As the intelligent Virginia Woolf once said; “one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” If you’re planning on winning hearts this Valentine’s but have yet to choose where you’ll dine, we’ve got you covered. Move over cupid, these restaurants are all we need to woo that special someone.

Cheesewerks

There are better ways than singing telegrams to get cheesy this Valentine’s. Check out the third annual ‘Fond of U’ dinner at Cheesewerks, that’s offering up a delicious four course dinner surrounding their famous fondue at just $75 a couple. Just don’t wait for cupid’s arrow to strike to book, advanced purchase is required for either their 7:00pm or 9:30pm seatings on the 14th.

Destingo

French may be the language of love, but Destingo’s Valentine’s day menu is going to have you falling head over heels for Italian. At $49 per lovebird, this five course feast is going to be the highlight of your holiday. Just don’t expect your date to share their Tiramisu.

Doug Mcnish’s Public Kitchen

Have a honey that..well..won’t eat honey? Not an issue over at Doug McNish’s Public Kitchen! Reservations at this pop up vegan Valentine’s Day dinner are being taken between 5:30 and 10:00pm on Friday. Stock

There are opportunities to dine like royalty in Toronto…reality television royalty that is. Impress yours with a trip up to the top of Trump Tower to dine at Stock, a steakhouse featuring sharing and a la carte menus this Valentine’s. Perched atop the 31st floor, the view will only be rivaled by their hand crafted chocolate.

Sushi Kaji

If you have confidence in your chopsticks skills, but still fear your ability to order Japanese delights without sounding like a Canadian, take a trip to Sushi Kaji. With two prix fixe menus available, you’ll leave stuffed full of sushi, and not embarrassment. The two menus range from $100-120 a person, and include courses from appetizer through to dessert.
