Taste An Artisan
Taste An Artisan is a celebration of the tastiest artisan foods from across the province. Having partnered with over 200 hand-selected vendors from across the province to create a world of food experiences, we are bringing some of their favourite artisan food makers to the Taste An Artisan experience. Meet the makers of the most exceptional hot sauce, preserves, tea, caramel corn, and much more, while tasting your way through this interactive pavilion. A truly Delicious experience!

Inside Delicious Food Tour – Friday, October 17 @ 5:30 PM
Feel like a star as we provide you with an insider experience at the Delicious Food Show. Walk with the show with co-founder, Steven Hellmann, as he highlights some of this top picks at the show, shares food stories, and, provides you with a one of a kind experience. You will meet the people behind his favourite brands, sample their delicious food, and end with 2 exclusive experiences: a tasting of award winning chowder with reserved seating at the Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown demo, and, reserved seating for the Chuck Hughes demo on the Food Network Celebrity Stage. Sweet!

Sandwich Smackdown on the Food Network Celebrity Stage, Sponsored by Ace Bakery – Saturday, October 18, 2014 @ 4:00 PM
There will be no elementary school sandwich of bologna on white bread gracing the Food Network Celebrity Stage on Saturday, October 18 at 4:00 PM. Join us as we host the Sandwich Smackdown sponsored by Ace Bakery. We will bring together 3 amazing Chefs in a competition dedicated to the art of the sandwich.
Chefs Carlos Flores (No. 7 Hot Sauce and Cafe Con Leche), Breanne Coulton (Compass Group), and Martin Kouprie (Pangaea), will put their creativity to the test to create the ultimate sandwich, which will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges including Matt Basile (Travel and Escape’s Rebel Without A Kitchen), Andrea Nicholson (Food Network’s Restaurant Takeover), Trista Sheen (Top Chef Canada), and one lucky guest. Come cheer on your favourite Chef, taste some of the delicious samples that will be passed around throughout the competition, and learn what it takes to be crowned king or queen of the sandwich. The only prerequisite to attend is plenty of napkins, your hands, and maybe a fork.

Hands On Workshop at the Sub-Zero and Wolf Classrooms – Hallowe’en Finger Foods with Foodies on Foot In-House Chef Damian Harrington – Sunday, October 19 @ 4:00 PM
Having been mentored by the best classically trained chefs in the Toronto food scene, including Chefs Fred Reindl, Marc McEwan, and Arpi Magyar, and, working as Chef Tourant at Splendido, Chef Tourant at North 44, Head Saucier at ByMark, Executive Banquet Chef at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall, Chef Du Cuisine at Grande Lido Braco, Executive Chef at the Crowne Plaza in Niagara Falls, Executive Chef at The Pillar and Post in Niagara-on-the-Lake, part of the Vintage Hotels Collection, and, currently Executive Chef at Toula, in the Westin Harbour Castle, Chef Harrington knows his way through a kitchen.
As our in-house Chef, he brings his world class experience to his most creative role to date. Chef Harrington has been instrumental in creating top notch corporate events, private dining experiences, and, soon to be launching cooking classes, for Foodies on Foot.
