Cookin in the Park

Join Chefs Trevor and Ashley for an interactive cooking class and dinner. Having recently taken over the kitchen at Parkette Kitchen & Bar, Chefs Trevor and Ashley place a large emphasis on handmade products. This single evening interactive cooking class will demonstrate the basics of pasta making, building sauces, soups, and some simple bakery. Each student will learn to cook a three course meal, that can be transformed into many variations, like a professional. Guests will take home basic recipes and instructions that can be applied easily at home for future dinners.

 

This comprehensive class, led by Chef instructors Trevor and Ashley will demonstrate everything from making the pasta dough to plating. Guests will learn to form different pastas and later prepare the accompanying spring vegetables and seasonally inspired sauces. Watch hands on demonstrations including the basic knife skills and technique of building flavors. Students will also gain a feel for dough in making Parkette’s signature dessert buns.

 

Guests are encouraged to join in as the chefs demonstrate, cook the meal, and, later sit down to a family style dinner together.
