Toronto Taste – Feed Yourself, Feed Others

Toronto Taste - Feed Yourself, Feed Others

Ready to indulge your tastebuds? As Mark McEwan states, “Toronto Taste is the most important event of the year in this city.” We would not agree more. This is the one event that we look forward to attending every year. On Sunday, June 7, 2014, indulge your senses with Second Harvest and feed your soul at the organization’s legendary culinary fundraiser, Toronto Taste, presented by The Daniels Corporation.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary this magical event this year, Second Harvest has been serving up this culinary event to the Toronto community, giving people the opportunity to give back in the most delicious way – through food! Held at Corus Quay on Toronto’s gorgeous lakefront, foodies and tastemakers will indulge in mouth-watering gourmet dishes and libations created by 70 of the city’s top chefs and beverage purveyors, all in support of Second Harvest’s food rescue program.

As one of the original culinary events in the city, and definitely one of the best, Toronto Taste provides a unique experience for guests, giving individuals personal access to the city’s top culinary talent and tastiest restaurants.

On top of experiencing the chefs’ talent first hand and tasting the best food and drinks in the city, guests will take advantage of Toronto Taste’s exclusive Fine Wine Auction. This auction will feature a global selection of exclusive and rare vintages sourced from private collections for drinking, cellaring and investment.

Guests will also be invited to participate in Toronto Taste’s Live Auction, which will award big-ticket prizes, such as once-in-a-lifetime culinary-themed trips to exotic destinations, to lucky year.

A limited number of tickets are now available at a cost of $250 each, with a $125 tax receipt. Every ticket purchased will allow Second Harvest to rescue and deliver enough food to provide 500 meals for adults, children and seniors in need in Toronto.
